Privacy policy
Draft, lawyer review pending before launch.
Hajazna is an events guide in Arabic. We collect the minimum needed to run the site, and we never sell your data. This page explains what we collect, why, who receives it, and your rights.
What we collect
- Browsing the site: our hosting provider automatically logs the IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and to run the site. The visit statistics we see are anonymous and set no cookies.
- The country you browse from: used only to order the city list. It is not stored on our servers and stays in your browser until the session ends.
- Clicks on ticket links: counted per event, without identifying the visitor.
- Booking a ticket on the site: name, email, phone, number of tickets and order status. Card details are entered with the payment processor directly; they never reach us and we do not store them.
- Listing an event: the organizer’s name, email, phone and the event details. Contact details are never published. The submission passes a bot check that sees the IP address.
- Writing to us: your email address and what you write.
Why we use it
- To fulfil your booking and email you the order confirmation and the ticket.
- To answer your questions and requests to correct or delete data.
- To review submitted events and contact the organizer.
- To protect the site from fraud and abuse.
- To improve the site with aggregated statistics.
- To meet our legal and bookkeeping obligations.
We send no marketing email and run no tracking ads.
Who receives it
We do not sell, rent or trade your data. We share only what is needed with:
- The payment processor, to take payment for a booking.
- The original ticket seller, when we buy the ticket in our name to fulfil your booking, to the extent the seller requires to complete the purchase.
- Service providers that run the site for us (hosting, email, bot protection), bound to use the data only to provide the service.
- Authorities, when a binding legal request requires it.
Some of these providers store data outside Israel. By using the site you agree to this; we choose providers that apply suitable protection standards.
How long we keep it
- Booking orders: for the period the law requires for bookkeeping records, then deleted.
- Organizer data: while the event is listed, or until you ask us to delete it.
- Correspondence: until the matter is closed.
- Click counts: aggregated and not linked to a person.
Security
Data travels encrypted, and only people who need it to run the site can access it. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
Minors
Anyone may browse the site. Booking and paying is for people aged 18 and over.
Your rights
You may ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to its use. Write to us through the contact page and we will answer within a reasonable time. If we do not resolve the matter, you may turn to the Privacy Protection Authority in Israel.
Links to other sites
Ticket links take you to the sellers’ sites. What you provide there is governed by their policies, not ours.
Changes
For a material change we post a notice on the site. The last update date is shown below.
Language
This policy is available in Arabic and English. If they differ, the Arabic version prevails.
